I've been a fan of Sevendust ever since the first time I heard the song "Black" almost 15 years ago. With that being said, one of my main issues with Sevendust has always been that they always kind of sound the same. This is a really solid album, most of the songs are quality songs, and if I had never heard Sevendust before, I would probably love it. As it stands though, I feel like I've heard the majority of the tricks they have up their sleeves at this point, so if you already dig Sevendust, you can trust that this album is more of the same in a good way. If you never liked Sevendust in the past, I don't think this album will pull enuogh new stunts to make you a fan. Songs like "Confessions", "Karma", "Here & Now", and "Unraveling" are all pretty kick ass quality songs. About half the album feels kind of like filler to me though. In the end, it's still a really good album, A- or B+ grade.
