Submission (Triangle Choke)
TKO (Head Kick & Punches)
These guys traded a few strikes, and then Benjilany clinched, pressed Jackson against the fence, and then Jackson took control of the clinch around the 90 second mark, and then they split up a few seconds later. Benjilany hurt Jackson with 2 minutes left in the round, and then he unloaded on him with beautiful combinations of punches, elbows, kicks, knees, he was hitting him with everything he had, while Jackson just leaned against the fence, as he tried to weather the storm. Benjilany still wasn't able to finish him for some reason, so he let up with a minute left in the round, and then Benjilany poked Jackson in the eye, which gave him a few seconds to recover. When the fight started back up, Jackson grabbed Benjilany and threw him to the ground. Round one goes to Adil Benjilany based on his wild offense for that solid minute of striking.
The second round was another round of Benjilany beating the shit out of Jackson with his striking, while basically just chasing him around the cage. Jackson was doing a good job avoiding most of the actual damage, but Benjilany was clearly the more aggressive fighter, so I have him ahead 20-18 going into the final round.
Jackson started the final round aggressively, looking for an early takedown, but Benjilany was able to stuff his shot, and then he unloaded on Jackson with some more combinations. Jackson finally scored another takedown with 2 minutes left in the round, but he just landed inside Benjilany's guard, and appeared to be too tired to really do any damage on the ground. Benjilany was eventually able to sweep him, and Benjilany finished the round on top, beating the shit out of Jackson. This is a clear unanimous decision victory for Adil Benjilany.
