Rango was a charming CGI movie, that I honestly think is one of the best movies ever created for kids. If I would have been 8-9 when watching this movie, it'd probably be my favorite movie of all time. As it stands, at the ripe old age of 30, I still really thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and would highly recommend it to friends. It has a great cast of characters, including quite possibly the best "bad guy" ever created in Rattlesnake Jake, a wide range of cool character types, and of course the main character Rango was excellent as well, especially with that unique Johnny Depp twist. In the end, everything from the story, to the visuals, to the soundtrack, to the characters, EVERYTHING was top notch, so I see absolutely no reason why anybody should avoid this movie. In fact, it's one of the few movies I've seen recently that I would actually be willing to watch a second time, and I'm sure it would be just as enjoyable.  The Godfather |
